Hyderabadi Mirchon Ka Salan Recipe

Ingredients:


  • Sesame Seeds = 1 tsp
  • Green Chillies = 1/2 KG
  • Oil = 1 cup
  • Mustard Seeds = 1 tsp
  • Dry whole coriander = 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds = 2 tbsp
  • Desiccated coconut = 2 tbsp
  • Fenugreek seeds = 1 tsp
  • Poppy seeds = 1 tbsp
  • Peanuts = 2 tbsp
  • Black caraway/Kalonji = 1 tsp
  • Onion = 1 (Normal size)
  • Ginger/garlic paste = 1.5 tsp
  • Turmeric powder = 1 tsp
  • Salt = 1.5 tsp
  • Red chilli powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves = 2 tsp

  • Method:


    Start by roasting all dry ingridients including Onion,Peanuts,Green Chillies. Then grind All ingridients which we have raosted (Peanuts,desiccated coconut,onion,Poppy seeds,Cumin seeds) and make all of it into a paste. Then take a pen add one cup oil at pre-heat it.After the oil is heated add curry leaves,fenugreek seeds,cumin seeds,mustard seeds and black caraway and temper(tarka) it for 1 minute. Then add ginger/garlic paste and stir-fry for further 1 minute. Then add turmeric powder,salt and the grinded ingridients paste and stir cook it for further 2 minutes untill the oil comes out. Then add Roasted Green Chillies,tamarind Pulp and half glass of water and let it cook for further 5 minutes, Hyderabadi Mirchon ka Salan is Ready To Serve!
