Hyderabadi Mirchon Ka Salan Recipe
Ingredients:
- Sesame Seeds = 1 tsp
- Green Chillies = 1/2 KG
- Oil = 1 cup
- Mustard Seeds = 1 tsp
- Dry whole coriander = 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds = 2 tbsp
- Desiccated coconut = 2 tbsp
- Fenugreek seeds = 1 tsp
- Poppy seeds = 1 tbsp
- Peanuts = 2 tbsp
- Black caraway/Kalonji = 1 tsp
- Onion = 1 (Normal size)
- Ginger/garlic paste = 1.5 tsp
- Turmeric powder = 1 tsp
- Salt = 1.5 tsp
- Red chilli powder = 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves = 2 tsp
Method:
Start by roasting all dry ingridients including Onion,Peanuts,Green Chillies. Then grind All ingridients which we have raosted (Peanuts,desiccated coconut,onion,Poppy seeds,Cumin seeds) and make all of it into a paste. Then take a pen add one cup oil at pre-heat it.After the oil is heated add curry leaves,fenugreek seeds,cumin seeds,mustard seeds and black caraway and temper(tarka) it for 1 minute. Then add ginger/garlic paste and stir-fry for further 1 minute. Then add turmeric powder,salt and the grinded ingridients paste and stir cook it for further 2 minutes untill the oil comes out. Then add Roasted Green Chillies,tamarind Pulp and half glass of water and let it cook for further 5 minutes, Hyderabadi Mirchon ka Salan is Ready To Serve!
